Archduke Charles Joseph of Austria, born in Vienna in 1649, held a significant, albeit brief, life within the Habsburg dynasty. From a young age, he was destined for an ecclesiastical career, accumulating several prominent religious titles. He served as Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights and held the esteemed positions of Roman Catholic Bishop of Passau, Wrocław, and Olomouc. Additionally, he was known as a coadjutor bishop, indicating his role as an assistant to a diocesan bishop with the right of succession. His life concluded in Linz in 1664, at the young age of fifteen, leaving behind a legacy defined by his early and extensive ecclesiastical appointments.
