Their story
Diego Habsburg, born in Madrid in 1575, held a significant place in the royal lineage as the Prince of Asturias, heir apparent to the Spanish throne. He also bore the titles of Prince of Portugal, Prince of Girona, and was Duke of Montblanc and Prince of Viana. His brief life, spent entirely in Madrid, ended in 1582.
